- Panini has been appointed by the International Olympic Committee as a licensee for the development of physical and digital stickers and cards album collections globally (outside the USA, China, Russia and Belarus) until 2026, including the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 and Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
- In addition to its traditional collections, Panini’s licensed products will incorporate innovative digital integrations targeting new fan groups.
- The “Paris 2024 Album by Panini” has been released in early July.
The International Olympic Committee and Panini are pleased to announce the signing of a License Agreement granting Panini rights to publish physical and digital stickers and cards album products.
This chapter marks a significant milestone in Panini’s tradition. While Panini have released multi-sport and National team specific Olympic collections before, the scope of this agreement is to offer fans engagement through reveals and unique digital content featuring athletes of different sports from all over the world.
The Coca-Cola Company enjoys a long-standing partnership with the Panini Group and will collaborate on the Paris 2024 Album by Panini, the first-ever digital collectable album of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The partnership kicks off in July 2024 with the "Paris 2024 Album by Panini", a “phygital” project that includes web and mobile applications offering digital card packs, and an album featuring inspirational Olympic and Paralympic legends, icons, landmarks, original artist cards as well as emblems and pictograms of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The digital cards will be linked to special content and reveals, incorporating innovative digital integrations to cater to the evolving interaction with today’s fan community. Digital card packs will also be available to buy in app, offering gold cards which can be redeemed for once in a lifetime prizes such as virtual Q&A sessions with athletes and legends.
The album contains special Team Coca-Cola athlete digital cards, which can be unlocked by scanning a selection of Coca-Cola portfolio products.
Paris 2024 physical trading card packs will be on sale on Panini's e-commerce stores.
