McLaren MCL33 as driven by Fernando Alonso

McLaren has used a wide variety of engine suppliers across its history, but for a long time, Renault was missing from the list. That all changed in 2018, as the French company signed a three-year agreement with the British team. It was an unhappy season for Fernando Alonso, ending in his retirement. 

We take a closer look at the MCL33, which continued to be problematic for McLaren, Theodore Racing from 1976 - 1983, and this issue’s Champion of F1 is Maston Gregory.
