Toleman TG185 as driven by Teo Fabi

The Toleman team closed its doors in 1985, and Benetton was born – a clothing company which transformed itself into a winning constructor. 

For Teo Fabi and his British single-seater, it was the start of a particularly troubled season. Given the turbulent start to the 1985 season, very little could have been expected from Toleman-Benetton but this was merely the starting point and, by adding the right people in key roles, the team would soon begin its assent.
