Renault R.S.19 as driven by Daniel Ricciardo

After taking fourth place in 2018, the French manufacturer signed Aussie driver Daniel Ricciardo in the hope of improving its position. Unfortunately, the single-seater performed well below expectations and the season showed that Renault was simply outclassed. We look back at the golden age – the period from 1995 to 1997, when Renault’s V10 engines – the RS7, RS8 and RS9, supplied exclusively to Williams and Benetton – ruled the track.
