F1 COLLECTION 134
WILLIAMS FW04 - 1975
Williams FW04 - 1975 as driven by Jacques Laffite.
Laffite was one of two drivers to cross the starting line in the first FW initialled cars! We take a closer look at the Williams FW04, which was often unreliable, but Ray Stokoe’s design showed flashes of pace. A limited budget didn’t hold the fledgling team back, with the FW04 gaining second place in Germany.
Dominated by Ferrari, the 1960 Italian Grand Prix™ saw the first F1 victory for an American driver, plus we honour Pedro Rodríguez who lost his life in 1971 and was considered to be Mexico’s greatest ever racing driver.
