BRABHAM BT34 - 1971
Brabham BT34 - 1971 as driven by Graham Hill
After suffering a serious accident in the penultimate race of the 1969 season, Graham Hill broke both of his legs and was told that he may never race again, but the determined driver got back in a car and his story took a different turn in 1971.
Jack Brabham retired from racing and the team he founded and Hill, now aged 42, became Brabham’s number one driver and succeeded in taking the ‘lobster-claw’ BT34 across the line in first place.
We also take a look at RAM Racing’s beginnings and 1976 debut, plus the 1959 USA Grand Prix™ and meet Turbo King, Jean-Pierre Jabouille.
