Jordan 196 Peugeot as driven by Rubens Barrichello

A fixture at Jordan since 1993, their talented Brazilian driver just needed the right opportunity, and he certainly helped the team leap into the top tier. Despite fielding a well-made single seater, which was perhaps a little too experimental, the Irish-registered team still fell short of expectation in the 1996 season and their fortunes took a downward turn over the next decade.
