F1 COLLECTION 155
MARCH 711 - 1971
March 711 as driven by Henri Pescarolo
After the painful experience with De Tomaso in which he had lost his driver and friend Piers Courage, Frank Williams restarted in 1971 with March and Henri Pescarolo - the French driver being one of only two drivers to collect points at the wheel of the 711.
Ferdinand Porsche had designed some of the best pre-war single-seaters, starting with the legendary Auto Union ‘Typ A’ in 1934; this issue features Porsche from 1957-1964, plus the 1989 Hungarian Grand Prix and the tragically short career of Gunnar Nilsson.
