F1 COLLECTION 156
BRABHAM BT26A - 1969
Brabham BT26A as driven by Piers Courage
After a short apprenticeship in the lower formulae, Frank Williams made a Brabham single-seater available to his star driver, Piers Courage, with which to compete in the 1969 World Championship. At times, the results were brilliant.
Mike Earle started managing his own team, Onyx, in the late 1970s and had become an influential and respected manager in international racing circles - we look at one year in the life of Onyx Monterverdi.
This issue also features the Brabham BT26A in detail, the 1972 German Grand Prix, and a look back at F1 champion Alessandro Nannini’s career in the late 80s.
