Merzario A1 as driven by Arturo Merzario

Having reached a crossroads in his career, Merzario decided to become both driver and constructor at the same time. It was an undertaking which ultimately proved to be too costly for the stetson-toting Italian, but it was an interesting enterprise. 

We look at the 1978 season on the track, cover the Merzario Team in their two years of activity and break down the A1’s technical details.
