Jaguar R4 as driven by Antonio Pizzonia

For the 2003 race in Monte Carlo, a suitably glamorous collaboration between Jaguar and a high-end jeweller resulted in a bright pink livery decorating the R4s driven by Mark Webber and Antonio Pizzonia. The actual race was less sparkling. The season was seen as a last-chance saloon for the marque in Formula 1, despite the R4 being the best single-seater produced by Jaguar Racing in its five years of operation.

This issue features Footwork Arrows from 1978, created from the ashes of Shadow, and we take a closer look at the technical details of the Jaguar R4. Our champion of F1 is Stefan Johansson.
